Hubert Oxford IV

With over twenty years of legal experience, Hubert Oxford IV brings a legacy of legal excellence to Benckenstein & Oxford.  Hubert combines deep community roots in Beaumont, Texas, with a forward-thinking approach to law. Hubert’s dedication to the firm’s client’s success and commitment to justice have established him as a trusted advisor and formidable advocate. Mr. Oxford also takes great pride in being accessible to the firm’s clients and uses his best efforts to return all calls that day, as he is often collaborating with the clients well into the evening.  Over the years, Hubert’s legal experience has evolved as the legal landscape has changed and while he continues to work with corporate clients in the defense of toxic tort claims his practice also includes working with governmental entities, landowners seeking offers and securing favorable agreements on: green energy projects, such as carbon sequestration, solar and wind, hydrogen facilities, and pipelines.

Joshua Heinz

Josh Heinz is a partner at Benckenstein & Oxford, LLP. Josh is known for his strategic insight and personalized client care in many areas including probate, guardianships, estate planning, trusts, commercial transactions, civil litigation, real estate, carbon sequestration and governmental entities. Josh leverages his comprehensive legal knowledge and passion for advocacy to achieve outstanding results for his clients. Frances Blair Bethea

Of Counsel

Frances Blair Bethea has been board-certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1989. According to the State Bar, only 670 lawyers in the State of Texas hold this certification. During her thirty-eight years with Benckenstein and Oxford, first as an associate, then as a partner, and now as of Counsel,  her practice has been and continues to be focused not only on estate planning and probate matters, but also on guardianships, planning for incapacity, creation and management of business entities such as limited liability companies and partnerships, and transactional work.  She feels privileged to have cultivated and maintained long-standing relationships with many of her clients and to have guided them through various stages of their family and business life.
